Cut-off Dates and Age Relaxation

The cut-off date for age is 1 July 2026, being the first day of the month in which online registration commences. The cut-off date for educational qualification and for post-qualification experience is 10 August 2026, the last date of online registration. Only full-time experience as a full-time employee, acquired after the minimum notified educational qualification, is counted; experience in the clerical cadre is not counted. Experience certificates must be issued in the format at Annexure-II of the notification, signed by the competent authority at controlling office or head office level.

Relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 years for SC and ST applicants, 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) applicants, 10 years for persons with benchmark disability under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, 5 years for eligible ex-servicemen, and 5 years for persons affected by the 1984 riots.

Selection Process

For posts up to Scale III, the selection process may comprise an online examination, a group discussion if required, and/or a personal interview, depending on the number of eligible applicants. For posts in Scale IV and Scale V, the process may comprise a group discussion if required, any other test or assessment, and/or a personal interview.

Where an online examination is held, there is a penalty of one fourth of the marks assigned to each question answered wrongly. The personal interview carries 100 marks, with qualifying marks of 50 for General and EWS applicants and 45 for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD applicants. Candidates are called for interview in a ratio of 1:3 against the number of vacancies, which the Bank may modify at its discretion. The final merit list is drawn category-wise on the aggregate of the stages actually conducted.

Application Fee

The application fee and intimation charges are non-refundable: Rs 1,180 inclusive of GST for UR, EWS and OBC applicants, and Rs 177 inclusive of GST for SC, ST and PwBD applicants. Bank transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the applicant. Payment is made online during registration, and applicants should print the system-generated e-receipt after successful payment.
