Lok Nyay Seva Kendra, the legal aid cell of Pyare Foundation, is inviting law students and fresh graduates to join its internship programme. This is a chance to work at the grassroots of access to justice, helping ordinary people, students, and economically weaker sections understand and claim their legal rights. If you care about public service and want practical exposure to legal aid alongside mentorship from working legal professionals, this internship gives you that on the ground experience.
Pyare Foundation is a registered nonprofit that has worked across health and hygiene, education, and environmental conservation since well before this initiative, operating at the grassroots in remote villages and urban communities across India. Lok Nyay Seva Kendra is its dedicated legal aid cell, set up on 3 August 2025 to spread legal awareness and make justice simpler and more accessible for marginalised communities.
The cell is guided by an advisory board that includes Dr. Anjali Thapliyal Kaul (President and Founder, Pyare Foundation), Dr. Neha Bahl (Professor, DME Law School), and Advocate Vivek Sharma (Legal Expert), with a legal cell and managerial cell of student and professional volunteers running its day to day programmes.
As an intern you will support the legal aid cell across its core work, which includes:
You can expect direct mentorship from legal professionals and exposure to legal aid and access to justice initiatives that most classroom learning does not reach.
