Evidentia Partners, a forensic investigation and legal advisory firm headquartered in Pune, is inviting law students to apply for an in-office legal internship. The core team includes Ravindranath Patil (Partner), a former Indian Police Service officer and forensic professional with High Court experience, Karishma Thakur (Partner), a lawyer admitted to the Supreme Court and the Bombay High Court, and Rishikesh Jamadar (Senior Associate), admitted to the Bombay High Court and the Pune District and Sessions Court. The firm operates from Pune (its headquarters) and Mumbai, with affiliate offices across India.

As an intern, you will support the firm across its core areas of work. Evidentia Partners is a full-service forensic and legal practice, so you can expect to work across diverse areas of law rather than a single narrow brief.

The firm practices across the following areas, which gives you a sense of the work you may be exposed to:

• Corporate frauds, including bribery, corruption, embezzlement, collusion, and corporate espionage
• Workplace misconduct, including sexual harassment, conflicts of interest, and Code of Conduct breaches
• Regulatory violations spanning anti-corruption, competition law, environmental standards, and financial regulations
• Stakeholder interviews with suspects, witnesses, and whistleblowers
• Cyber response, readiness assessments, and simulation workshops
• eDiscovery reviews covering preservation, processing, and examination of electronic data
• Training and capacity building on fraud awareness and compliance
• Expert evidence, including Section 63(4) certificates for electronic evidence admissibility
• Litigation strategies across civil, criminal, and administrative matters

The internship is open to law students in the later stages of their degree:

• 5-Year LL.B. students in their 4th or 5th year
• 3-Year LL.B. students in their 3rd or final year

The firm is looking for interns who bring:

• An eagerness to learn and work across diverse areas of law
