Legal Internship at Human Rights & Women Empowerment Organisation, Muzaffarpur (Unpaid)

The Human Rights & Women Empowerment Organisation, based in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, is inviting law students to apply for an in-person legal internship. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside the organisation on litigation support, legal drafting, and grassroots legal-awareness work.

Please note this is an unpaid internship. No stipend is offered. The duration is flexible and is confirmed with you during the selection process.

The Human Rights & Women Empowerment Organisation works on human rights, women's empowerment, and social justice in the Muzaffarpur region of Bihar. The internship is centred on supporting its day-to-day legal and advocacy activities.

As an intern, you can expect to be involved in:

• Legal research and case-law analysis
• Drafting legal documents and applications
• Assisting with legal-awareness activities
• Documentation and report preparation
• Supporting the organisation's legal projects

This internship is open to:

• Law students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes
• Those with a genuine interest in litigation, legal drafting, human rights, and social justice

Candidates from Bihar are given preference, given that this is an in-person role based in Muzaffarpur.

There is no application fee. This is a free internship for applicants. Equally, it is unpaid, so no stipend will be provided.
