Legal Internship at JKS Legal, New Delhi (Litigation; July-August 2026)

If you are a final-year law student looking for hands-on litigation exposure in the capital, JKS Legal is inviting applications for a legal internship for the July-August 2026 cycle. This is an on-site internship at the firm's office in Defence Colony, New Delhi, where you will work alongside practising litigators across criminal, civil, and commercial matters.

The internship runs for roughly two months, with candidates available from 1 July 2026 preferred. It is a good fit if you want to see how cases move through Delhi's courts and tribunals from the inside, rather than from the lecture hall.

JKS Legal is a litigation-focused law firm based in Defence Colony, New Delhi. The firm specialises in criminal, civil, and commercial litigation, and regularly appears before the Delhi courts and tribunals. Its work for interns centres on real, live matters, so you can expect exposure to court craft, drafting, and day-to-day case management.

As a legal intern, you will support the team on active litigation work. Typical responsibilities include:

• Assisting with case preparation and reviewing case files
• Helping with court filings and procedural compliance
• Conducting legal research on points of law and procedure
• Drafting pleadings, applications, and other litigation documents
• Accompanying advocates to court proceedings where required

This internship is open to:

• Final-year students of the 3-year LL.B. programme
• Final-year students of the 5-year B.A. LL.B. or BBA LL.B. programmes

Candidates who are available to start from 1 July 2026 will be preferred. Since this is an offline internship, you should be able to attend the firm's Defence Colony office in person.

There is no application fee for this internship. JKS Legal has not advertised a stipend for this cycle, so you should treat it as an unpaid learning opportunity unless the firm confirms otherwise at the interview or offer stage.

Duration: Approximately 2 months (July to August 2026), with a preferred start date of 1 July 2026.
