Legal Internship at Maximus Legal (Virtual, July/August 2026)

Maximus Legal® is inviting applications for its Virtual Internship Programme for the months of July and August 2026. If you are a law student looking to gain practical exposure across a broad spectrum of litigation and corporate practice areas — without having to relocate — this fully remote internship is worth a look. You will work under the guidance of experienced legal professionals at a full-service firm led by an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India.

The firm is committed to providing comprehensive legal solutions to its clients through a team of young, efficient, and knowledgeable legal professionals with expertise across multiple practice areas.

As a virtual intern, you will get to engage with a wide range of work spanning the firm's litigation and corporate practice. The practice areas you may be exposed to include:

• General Corporate
• Commercial Litigation
• Intellectual Property Rights Litigation
• Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code
• Corporate and Civil Litigation
• Criminal Litigation
• Trademark Prosecution
• Copyright Filings

The firm is seeking applications from law students who meet either of the following criteria:

• Students in the third year or above of a five-year integrated law programme.
• Students in the second year or above of a three-year law programme.

The internship is conducted entirely in virtual mode, so you can intern from anywhere. The programme runs for the month of July 2026 or August 2026 — you can indicate your preferred month when you apply.

There is no application fee. This is a learning-focused virtual internship; the firm's notification does not mention a stipend, so you should treat it as an unpaid position unless the firm confirms otherwise.
