Legal Professional at Balaji Telefilms, Mumbai (6+ Years PQE; Media & Entertainment Law)

Balaji Telefilms Ltd. is hiring a Legal Professional for its OTT and Digital Media business in Mumbai. This is a full-time, in-office role for a lawyer with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in media and entertainment law. The position is open on a rolling basis.

Its content reaches audiences across multiple platforms and languages, and its OTT and digital media business handles a high volume of content, talent, licensing, and partnership arrangements.

As the Legal Professional for the OTT and Digital Media business, you will:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for content, production, talent, licensing, and partnerships.
• Provide legal support across content development, production, distribution, and rights management.
• Advise internal teams on legal, contractual, and regulatory matters.
• Support content partnerships, brand integrations, sponsorships, and commercial deals.
• Manage intellectual property, rights documentation, and contract repositories.
• Monitor legal developments and identify potential business and compliance risks.

Please note the role follows a Monday to Saturday work schedule.

You are a good fit if you have:

• 6+ years of post-qualification experience in Media and Entertainment Law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across content, licensing, and commercial agreements.
• Sound knowledge of intellectual property and rights management in the media space.
