Legal Research Internship at IJRLM, Remote (1 Month)

The Indian Journal for Research in Law and Management (IJRLM) is inviting applications for its one month virtual research internship, starting in July 2026. This is a fully online programme built for students and early researchers who want hands on experience producing original, publishable research in law, management, and allied fields. You work remotely on assigned topics, submit your work through simple online channels, and stay connected with the editorial team over the course of the month.

If you are looking to sharpen your research and writing, build a portfolio of original work, and earn a credential from a peer reviewed journal, this internship is worth your attention. There is no fee to apply or participate.

IJRLM (ISSN 2583-9896) is an open access, double blind peer reviewed journal established in 2023 and based in Mumbai, India. It publishes scholarship across law and management, including business law, corporate governance, criminal law, intellectual property rights, international trade and investment law, and several areas of management studies. Articles are released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, so published work stays freely available.

The journal was founded by Alden Vas, a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at National Law University, Nagpur, and is run with a dedicated editorial and advisory board. IJRLM lists indexing partners including Google Scholar, HeinOnline, Manupatra, and ROAD.

As a research intern you take on the work of an entry level legal and management researcher. Day to day, the role involves:

• Writing, compiling, and submitting research work on topics assigned to you by the team.
• Producing original, unpublished work and turning it in by the deadlines you are given.
• Coordinating with the editorial team, with work and instructions communicated over video conferences or messaging.
• Submitting your completed pieces through the journal online submission channels.

The internship runs for 30 days and is conducted entirely online, so you can take part from anywhere.

The internship is open to a broad pool of applicants:

• Undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in any programme at any university.
• Professionals working in the fields of law, management, or humanities.
• PhD scholars and research associates.
