Vitasta School of Law invites you to LEX NOVA 2026, a National Conference on Contemporary Challenges and Emerging Trends in Law, to be held on 5 September 2026 in Hybrid mode. The conference offers a distinguished platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, and students to engage in meaningful discourse on contemporary legal challenges and emerging trends. It is dedicated to fostering scholarly excellence, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and facilitating the exchange of innovative ideas that shape the future of law, justice, and public policy.
Vitasta School of Law has been affiliated with the University of Kashmir and recognised by the Bar Council of India since its establishment in 2011. It offers the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. programme at the undergraduate level, with an annual intake of 120 students admitted through an entrance examination conducted by the University of Kashmir. Located in the Kashmir Valley near Nowgam bypass, Srinagar, it is one of the most prestigious law colleges in the region and continues to produce competent advocates, administrators, and techno-legal professionals.
The main theme is Contemporary Challenges and Emerging Trends in Law. The conference welcomes papers on contemporary legal issues, including but not limited to:

The conference is open to students, educators, researchers, academicians, practitioners, policy-makers, and other legal stakeholders.
You may submit under one of three categories:
Formatting: Times New Roman, 12-point, line spacing 1.5; margins 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides; citation style Bluebook (20th Edition), with all sources cited appropriately.
Your submission must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. It must be free from plagiarism, grammatical and spelling errors, and any defamatory or offensive content. All manuscripts must be submitted in .docx format — PDF submissions will not be accepted. The manuscript must not contain author name(s) or identifying information, to ensure a blind peer-review process.
