The Law, Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS) Journal at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai invites submissions for Volume I, Issue 2, 2026. This is a general call for papers for the journal's themed issue, and there is no submission or processing fee. If your work sits at the intersection of law, the humanities and the social sciences, this is a space to publish it.
Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) is one of India's National Law Universities, established by the State of Maharashtra. The LHSS Journal is its student-run, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to interdisciplinary scholarship across law, humanities and the social sciences.
The theme for this issue is "Fragmented Identities and Factional Fault Lines – Notes on Citizenship and Deportation." You are welcome to engage with any of the following sub-themes:
The call is open and does not restrict submissions by academic level, institution or location. Co-authorship is permitted, with a maximum of two authors per submission (including the first author).
