Symbiosis Law School, Noida, a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), has opened admissions to its one-year Master of Laws (LL.M.) for the academic year 2027-28. The programme is run by the school's Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies (CPGLS), and admission is only through the All India Admission Test (AIAT) 2027.
Online registration and fee payment opened on 1 September 2026 and close on 4 December 2026 (Friday), 11:59 pm. Classes for Semester I begin on 1 July 2027.

The intake is ten seats per specialisation. Within the sanctioned intake, 15% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe and 3% for Persons with Disability candidates. Over and above the intake, there are 2 seats for Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindu families living in the Kashmir Valley, and 15% for international students.
Eligibility
A three-year or five-year LL.B. degree from an Indian or foreign university recognised by the UGC, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates who have appeared for the final-year LL.B. examination may also apply.
Selection Process
Selection is through the AIAT, which carries a Written Test (70%) and a Personal Interview (30%). The final merit list is drawn from these two scores.
- Written Test (computer-based): objective and subjective questions testing teaching aptitude, research aptitude, legal aptitude and basic legal knowledge, drawn from Research Methodology, Legal Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Public International Law, Human Rights, Indian Contract Act, Company Law, Family Law and Environmental Law.
- Personal Interaction (online): assesses personal attributes, fitment, work experience, publications and the Statement of Purpose.
The registration portal asks candidates to upload a Statement of Purpose of not more than 250 words and one reference letter or email (from an official email ID) from the Head of the Institute, Supervisor or HOD, through the document upload portal before the online Personal Interaction. One SOP and one reference letter cover every Symbiosis campus a candidate applies to.
Fees
- AIAT registration fee: Rs 2,150 (non-refundable, non-transferable)
- LL.M. programme registration fee at SLS Noida: Rs 1,000 per specialisation chosen (non-refundable). Applying for both Noida specialisations costs Rs 4,150 in all.
- Payment: online through BillDesk (card, net banking, NEFT or RTGS, as given on the registration form)
- Programme fee for 2027-28: shown as TBA on the school's fee page; it is payable in two instalments, the second due on 25 November 2027, with a refundable institute deposit
No capitation fee is charged for admission to any Symbiosis programme.
How to Apply
- Open the SLS LL.M. 2027 registration portal and click Register. Turn off your browser's auto-fill before you begin.
- Read and accept the terms, fill in your details and set a password. Your SLS LLM login ID and password are emailed to you.
- Select Symbiosis Law School, Noida as your institute, choose your specialisation(s), then pay the AIAT fee of Rs 2,150 and the LL.M. registration fee of Rs 1,000 for each specialisation.
- Pay by 4 December 2026, 11:59 pm.
Your name, the institutes selected, your email ID and your category cannot be changed after registration. Institutes cannot be deselected once chosen, but more can be added by paying for them.
One Portal for Four Symbiosis Law Schools
The same AIAT portal handles one-year LL.M. admissions at Symbiosis Law School Pune, Noida, Hyderabad and Nagpur, and the same 4 December 2026 payment deadline applies to all four. You pay the AIAT fee once, plus the LL.M. registration fee of each school you add. SLS Noida charges Rs 1,000 per specialisation; check the portal for the fee of any other school.
Admission updates for SLS Noida are posted on symlaw.edu.in and sent from info@symlaw.edu.in. Candidates may not get separate individual communication, so keep checking the website.
