Unitedworld School of Law (UWSL), Karnavati University is hosting a National Conference on Contemporary Challenges and Global Perspectives on Corporate Law & Sustainable Development Goals on 25 July 2026 at its campus in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The conference invites papers exploring how legal systems, policies, and institutions can advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Registration is free, and the conference runs in hybrid mode. Registration and abstract submission are open from 25 May 2026, and the presentation-ready paper is due by 30 June 2026.
Karnavati University is a State Private University in Uvarsad, near Gandhinagar, granted private university status by the State of Gujarat in 2017. The Unitedworld School of Law (UWSL) is its constituent law school, recognised by the Bar Council of India, offering integrated B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes along with LL.M. and doctoral degrees.
Papers are invited on (but not limited to) the following themes:
Any contemporary topic related to law and sustainable development will also be considered.
The conference is open to academicians, legal practitioners, policymakers, researchers, industry experts, and students. Up to two co-authors are permitted per submission. Online participation is allowed only for participants whose affiliated institute or organisation is outside Gujarat; otherwise, attendance is in person.
Submit an abstract of 250 to 300 words stating the research objective, methodology, key findings, implications, and keywords.
Upon acceptance, participants must submit a presentation-ready paper (a PowerPoint presentation plus a research paper of approximately 1,000 words) by 30 June 2026.
Registration is free. Participants must arrange their own accommodation.
After the conference, the best paper presenters may be invited to submit a full research paper within 30 days of notification; if they agree, their papers will be considered for publication in an edited book by Karnavati University. All presenters receive a physical certificate of presentation at the valedictory ceremony, and the top three presenters are honoured with special felicitations.
Because acceptance is notified within five days of submission and the presentation-ready paper is due by 30 June 2026, abstracts should be submitted early enough to clear acceptance before that date.
Register and submit your abstract exclusively through the official Google Form: https://forms.gle/S7d2k5cHdqUXbcae8. Registration and abstract submission are open from 25 May 2026, and the presentation-ready paper must reach the organisers by 30 June 2026.
