The Department of Law, Central University of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), invites you to a two-day National Conference on "GST Reforms & India's Socio-Economic Transformation: Pathway to Viksit Bharat 2047". The conference takes place on 16 and 17 July 2026 in a hybrid format, so you can present and participate either on campus in Kalaburagi or online.
If your research touches on tax law, constitutional questions around GST, or the wider economic impact of GST across sectors, this is a strong forum to share your work and have selected papers considered for an ISBN publication.
The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) is a central university established by an Act of Parliament, located at Kadaganchi, Kalaburagi. This conference is hosted by its Department of Law in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, that funds and promotes research in the social sciences.
The conference invites papers across six tracks:
Submissions are welcome from professionals, academicians, research scholars, and students.
Papers selected by the Peer Review Committee will be considered for publication by the Department in association with ICSSR, with an ISBN.
Paper presenters: INR 1,000 (professionals/academicians) or INR 500 (students/research scholars). Non-presenting attendees: INR 500 (professionals/academicians) or INR 300 (students/research scholars).
