About the Programme

The School of Law, Bennett University is holding its first One Week International Capacity Building Programme on Emerging Trends in Business and Human Rights, International Trade, and Dispute Resolution from 7 to 11 December 2026 in online mode. The brochure describes it as an intensive academic programme built to give students, researchers and professionals current insights into contemporary legal issues, blending theory, practice and policy discussion so that participants engage directly with academicians, legal practitioners and industry experts.

About the Organiser

The programme is organised by the Centre for Trade, Investment and Competition Law (CTIC), School of Law, Bennett University. CTIC supports the School of Law's academic work in trade law, and its stated mission is to promote research in the area, build an ecosystem for the exchange of knowledge, and support stakeholders through advocacy and consultancy. The Centre has previously run an International Conference on Trade and Investment Law (November to December 2023), an online course on competition law (July to August 2024), an International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches to Sustainability in Trade, Investment and Competition Laws (November 2024), and, with the Moot Court Committee, the Bennett International Moot Court Competition in February 2026.

Bennett University was founded in 2016 by the Times Group. It is accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC and recognised by the UGC, the Association of Indian Universities and the Bar Council of India. The School of Law offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes.

Registration Fee

  • Indian participants, with certificate: INR 1,000
  • Indian participants, without certificate: INR 500

The brochure states that the INR 1,000 fee covers the tuition fee and the certificate, along with the opportunity to publish in an edited book carrying an ISBN.

How to Register

Registration closes on 30 September 2026. Pay the applicable fee through the Razorpay payment link, then complete the Google registration form. The form asks for the participant's full name with the prefix to be printed on the certificate, WhatsApp mobile number, designation, email, organisation, the date of payment, the payer name with the name of the bank, the transaction ID, and an upload of the payment receipt, so keep the receipt to hand before starting the form.

Certification and Publication Opportunity

Participants receive a Certificate of Completion from the School of Law, Bennett University. Participants who wish to publish may submit a research article on any of the programme themes up to 11 December 2026; accepted work is published in an edited book with an ISBN, subject to editorial review.
