The Orange Capital Debate (OCD) is the flagship national debate competition of the Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, organised by its Quiz, Debate and Literary Committee. Now in its third edition, Orange Capital Debate 3.0 will be held in the British Parliamentary (BP) format from July 31 to August 2, 2026, on the MNLU Nagpur campus, with a total prize pool of Rs. 1.75 lakh.
Open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at any university recognised by the UGC, as well as recent graduates of such institutions. Participants may register as institutional teams, cross teams, or as independent adjudicators.
Registration is being conducted in two phases. Phase I closed on July 12, 2026, and Phase II registrations close at 11:59 PM on July 20, 2026. Interested teams and independent adjudicators must register through the official Google Form.
The competition carries a total prize pool of up to Rs. 1,75,000 across winning teams and top speakers/adjudicators.
