Paid Legal Internship at Adv. PN Shylaja Legal Consultancy, Alappuzha (Kerala)

Adv. PN Shylaja Legal Consultancy is inviting applications for a six-month, on-site legal internship based at the Alappuzha District Court in Kerala. This is a paid position with a stipend, and there is scope for strong performers to be considered for a permanent role with the firm.

If you want hands-on courtroom and litigation exposure in a practising advocate's chamber, this is a chance to learn the day-to-day work of criminal and civil practice up close.

The internship is offered by Adv. PN Shylaja, a seasoned advocate and notary public with over 22 years of experience in criminal and civil law. The work is based at the Alappuzha District Court, Kerala.

As an intern you will support the chamber's litigation practice. Expect to be involved in legal drafting, research, document management, and e-filing procedures, working directly alongside an experienced advocate across criminal and civil matters.

You are a good fit if you have:

• Basic knowledge of legal drafting and research
• Computer proficiency (MS Word, internet research, document management)
• Familiarity with e-filing procedures
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Malayalam typing skills (preferred)

The internship runs for six months and is on-site at Alappuzha. A stipend is provided (the exact amount is to be confirmed directly with the firm). Based on your performance during the internship, you may be considered for a permanent position with the firm.
