The India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), established by the Election Commission of India, is inviting applications for the engagement of Program Officers to plan, execute, monitor and report on its national and global programs across various aspects of Democracy and Election Management. Program Officers coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of IIIDEM's training, research and capacity-building mandate. The engagement is on a rolling basis, with the number of positions depending on requirement and availability of suitable candidates.
IIIDEM delivers its mandate through various Schools and Centres offering programs and courses in democratic governance, electoral laws, election technology and electoral processes. These include the School of Democratic Governance and Election Management, the School of Electoral Law (which undertakes programs and thematic studies based on the legal framework of elections), the School of Election Technology, the Centre for Research and Innovation, the Centre for National Trainings and the Centre for International Trainings.
Candidates must satisfy one of the following essential criteria:
Law and legal studies fall within social sciences, and the role is closely tied to electoral law work through IIIDEM's School of Electoral Law; candidates with a legal background and relevant experience are eligible.
Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month, with an annual increase of up to 10% linked to performance evaluation. The engagement is contractual through NISG (the HR Service Provider of IIIDEM), initially for three (3) years, renewable based on IIIDEM's requirement. Place of posting is the IIIDEM Campus, Dwarka, New Delhi (full-time).
