The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at National Law University, Jodhpur invites applications for one position of Research Associate under the Research Seed Funding Project titled "Socio-Cultural Impact Assessment of the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005: A Study of Jodhpur District". The project examines the socio-cultural implications of the 2005 amendment on succession and inheritance rights and aims to contribute to legal and policy discourse through empirical socio-legal research.
National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ) was established in 1999 and is one of India's leading institutions for legal education and research. The University is currently marking its Silver Jubilee and undertakes a wide range of research across law and allied social sciences.
The position carries a lump-sum stipend of Rs 80,000. The engagement is for two months, tentatively September to October 2026, on a contractual basis.
