About the engagement

The Office of the Director General of Police, Rajasthan has issued Notification No. 3672 dated 21 July 2026 inviting applications from young professionals for engagement with Rajasthan Police purely on contract basis, for a fixed period of one year. Five posts are advertised in all, one each in Crime Data Analysis, Monitoring of Implementation of Naveen Nyay Samhitas, Road Safety, Drug Control and AI in Policing. The notification records that those engaged would gain exposure in the domain of police work, contribute to policy formulation, data analysis and monitoring, and develop an understanding of policing and governance frameworks. The post described below is the one open to law graduates.

The position: Young Professional - Monitoring of Implementation of Naveen Nyay Samhitas

One post. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring the implementation and compliance of the Naveen Nyay Sanhitas across the State. The role involves creating compliance dashboards, tracking implementation progress, identifying gaps, and preparing reports to support informed decision-making and effective governance.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor district-wise implementation of the Naveen Nyay Samhitas (BNS, BNSS and BSA) across the State.
  • Design, build and maintain compliance dashboards on statutory timelines for e-summons, mandatory videography, forensic team visits, and time-bound investigation milestones.
  • Identify gaps in adoption, analyse non-compliance patterns, and prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management.
  • Assist in drafting SOPs, circulars, advisories and training material relating to the Naveen Nyay Samhitas.
  • Track judicial pronouncements and Government of India guidelines on the Naveen Nyay Samhitas and prepare actionable briefs.
  • Liaise with the Prosecution, Judiciary and FSL data streams through ICJS, for end-to-end monitoring.

Eligibility

  • Educational qualification: preferably LL.M.; or B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., or any equivalent integrated five-year programme.
  • Experience: minimum one year of professional experience with a registered law firm handling criminal matters.
  • Age: candidates should be below 32 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application.

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of the Naveen Nyay Sanhitas and related legal provisions.
  • Experience in compliance monitoring and legal reporting.
  • Ability to develop dashboards and analyse compliance data.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.

Remuneration and terms of engagement

  • Consolidated remuneration of Rs 45,000 per month. No other financial benefit such as medical reimbursement, HRA or transport allowance is payable.
  • Full-time contractual engagement for a fixed period of one year. The candidate shall not take up any other assignment with any other agency, organisation or employer during the engagement.
  • Place of posting is Police Headquarters, Jaipur. Selected candidates work under the guidance and supervision of officers of Rajasthan Police and are assigned tasks at the discretion of Rajasthan Police.
  • Leave accrues at 1.5 days for each completed month on a pro-rata basis, with no accumulation.
  • Selected candidates must furnish a Declaration of Fidelity and Secrecy in the prescribed format, and on completion of tenure must return all materials, files, data, e-mails and passwords and sign a non-disclosure undertaking.
  • The engagement is purely on contract basis and confers no right to permanent absorption or regular appointment. Either side may terminate on 10 days' notice; Rajasthan Police may also terminate for inability to address assigned work, unsatisfactory quality of work, failure to achieve the work plan in time, or lack of honesty and integrity.

Selection process

Appointment will be made on contractual basis in accordance with the RTPP Rules and the policies of Rajasthan Police. Selection of applicants will be made through a suitability assessment comprising a written test, a practical test and an interview. No TA/DA is payable for attending any stage.

Offline applications may be submitted in an envelope superscribed "Application for the post of Young Professionals in Rajasthan Police" at Room No. 217, Second Floor, Police Headquarters, Lalkothi, Jaipur, Rajasthan-302015.

Every application must contain, in this order, the application format duly filled in, an index of the documents, and copies of the supporting documents. Each page of the application, including supporting documents, must be duly signed and numbered.

Documents to attach

  • Self-attested proof of identity issued by the concerned professional body of which the candidate is a member, or a government ID such as PAN, Aadhaar, driving licence or voter ID.
  • Proof of date of birth.
  • All mark sheets of the final examinations mentioned in the application.
  • Certificates of any other educational qualification.
  • Experience certificate from the employer for the period claimed, on the employer's letterhead with contact details, or an appointment letter with salary certificates for the entire period of experience.
  • Undertaking of self-employment, if applicable.

The other four positions in the same notification

The same notification advertises four further Young Professional posts, all at Rs 45,000 per month and all requiring a B.E./B.Tech or an allied technical or management qualification rather than a law degree: Crime Data Analyst, Road Safety Data Analyst, Drug Control Data Analyst, and Enabling AI in Policing.
