Khaitan Legal Associates is hiring a Paralegal for its Fintech Regulatory team in Bengaluru. This is an offline, on-site role suited to final-year law students and fresh graduates who are keen to build a career advising on the fast-moving world of fintech regulation in India.

As a Paralegal in the Fintech Regulatory team, you will support the firm's advisory work on financial-technology products and regulation. Responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic legal support on fintech product structuring
• Translating regulatory developments into practical, actionable strategies for clients
• Conducting regulatory legal due diligence and preparing reports
• Advising on digital lending, payments, wealth management and insurance technologies
• Reviewing technology licensing agreements
• Managing client deliverables independently
• Maintaining client communication and billing compliance

This role is open to:

• Students in their 5th year / final year of a BA LL.B (Hons.) programme, or fresh graduates
• Candidates with strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Those with excellent organisational abilities and sound legal-interpretation skills
• Candidates with a strong interest or experience in fintech regulation (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA)
• Those comfortable with agreement drafting and negotiation
