Chadha & Chadha (C&C IP) has opened applications for the role of Patent Associate / Patent Analyst at its Gurugram office. This is an on-site, full-time opening aimed at engineering graduates who want to build a career in patents, drafting and analysis of inventions. The role is open to candidates ranging from freshers up to two years of experience.

Chadha & Chadha is a well-established Indian intellectual property law firm offering end-to-end IP services, with patents being one of its core practice areas. The firm works on patent prosecution, drafting, searches and analysis across a wide range of technologies, and its patent team handles inventions spanning software, electronics, communications and emerging fields such as AI/ML. This opening sits within that patent practice in Gurugram.

As a Patent Associate / Analyst you will work across the patent lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Working on a variety of patent-related assignments
• Understanding inventions and technical documents
• Drafting, analysis and other patent-related work

It is a hands-on technical role, so you will spend a lot of time reading and making sense of inventions before translating them into patent work product.

This opening is best suited to engineering graduates with strong technical and communication skills. The firm is looking for:

• Engineers with a B.Tech. or M.Tech. qualification
• Freshers up to two years of experience
• Strong English communication and writing skills
• An analytical and problem-solving mindset
• The ability to understand and learn diverse technologies
• A team player with attention to detail

A background in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Electronics, AI/ML or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
