As a Policy Analyst in the Support Services - Consumer Risk department, you will help develop and implement policies and procedures that mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance. Your work will directly support the bank's consumer risk management framework.

• Research and analyse industry trends, regulations and best practices to inform policy development and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align policies accordingly.
• Develop and document comprehensive policies and procedures, ensuring clarity and ease of implementation.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing policies to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on policy implementation and interpretation.

• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in consumer-facing processes and systems.
• Work closely with the legal team to ensure policies adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and present policy-related reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of new policies and procedures and address related queries.

You should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in policy analysis, risk management or a similar role, preferably in the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations, particularly in the Indian context.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in policy writing and documentation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
