About the Role

The Process Analyst (Legal) supports the Lowe's U.S. Litigation team by identifying the documents and electronic evidence needed for claims and notices received, pulling data from various internal databases, and assembling and preparing case summary documents.

This is an in-office, full-time role based in Bengaluru. The requisition number is JR-02592088 and the position sits in the SSC-B Legal - Global Support department.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the U.S. Litigation team by conducting research on claims and notices received, and assembling legal documents and electronic evidence
  • Navigate claim documents to identify relevant facts, collect supporting documents for the defence and prepare case summaries
  • Handle the legal mailbox, responding to requests, transferring them to the necessary departments and ensuring closure
  • Support the opening and closing of subpoenas and legal hold requests
  • Support personnel file production and e-discovery
  • Pull data from various databases to analyse claims and enter relevant information into the analysis sheet or tools
  • Carry out email and phone outreach to relevant stakeholders on claim-related discussions and keep the repository updated
  • Work closely with attorneys, paralegals and other litigation support staff across the pre-litigation and litigation process
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Create spreadsheets and documents to organise, display and summarise data for analysis

Eligibility and Experience

Experience: 2-3 years of experience working in multinational companies, law firms or legal process outsourcing firms, with experience supporting legal or insurance claims.

Required minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in any field.

  • Ability to understand legal claim documents, identify the documents to be collected and summarise the matter
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify and escalate issues
  • Team player able to combine resources, experience and know-how effectively
  • Openness to different ideas and perspectives, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey legal information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to handle multiple research tasks at once
  • Exceptional integrity and work ethic

Secondary skills (desired): Prior experience supporting global legal teams, particularly U.S. teams, is an added advantage.

Location, Work Mode and Shift

The role is based at Lowe's India's on-site office at Building Willow-L2, Manyata Embassy Business Park SEZ, Outer Ring Road, Nagavara, Bengaluru - 560045, Karnataka.

It is an in-office, full-time position with shift timings of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST, working 40 hours per week. Lowe's states that the office offers collaborative workspaces, an on-site gym and an on-site clinic.
