National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA), Assam invites applications for contractual positions under its Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Lawyer Fellowship Programmes. These programmes strengthen theoretical and clinical legal education through structured mentorship and courtroom exposure for young lawyers from vulnerable and marginalised backgrounds across Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
Two roles are advertised: Programme Coordinator (2 posts) and Research Associate (1 post). NLUJA Assam is a National Law University established by Assam Act No. XXV of 2009.
Essential for both posts: a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognised University; proficiency in MS Office / legal databases and digital documentation; and willingness to travel across Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. Age preferably below 40 years as on the closing date.
For Programme Coordinator, excellent English communication is essential; a Master's degree (Law / Management / Public Administration / Public Policy / Development Studies) and CLE or clinical legal education experience are desirable. For Research Associate, a Master's degree, research-methodology training and experience preparing research reports or policy briefs are desirable.
