Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna is a National Law University established by Bihar Act No. XXIV of 2006, located at Nyaya Nagar, Mithapur, Patna. Its Child Rights Centre (CRC) carries out research, documentation and stakeholder engagement on child protection and child rights in Bihar.
Through Advt. No. CRC/2026-27 (Appt.)-04 dated 25 July 2026, the Centre has invited online applications for the position of Research Officer on a contractual basis under a project supported by UNICEF, Bihar.
Applicants must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in Law, Social Work, Women's Studies, Child Rights, Development Studies, Sociology or any other related discipline from any recognised institution.
The Research Officer will report to the Director and work in close coordination with the Centre Coordinator to advance the Centre's research and programme objectives in accordance with the requirements of CNLU CRC, UNICEF and other partners. The role covers:

Selection will be made purely on the basis of the candidate's previous record and performance in the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the time and venue of the interview by email only, and all correspondence with applicants will be through the same email ID. Candidates must produce original documents at the time of the interview, and no TA/DA will be paid for attending it.
