The Saveetha Law Review (SLR) is the law review of Saveetha School of Law, part of the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai, a deemed-to-be university accredited A++ by NAAC. The journal describes itself as a peer-reviewed platform meant to connect legal theory and practice.
Its inaugural issue (Volume 1, Issue 1) came out in June 2026. It carried articles by a former Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, a Principal Secretary to the Government of Kerala, and law professors from TISS, DSNLU and NUALS, along with a book review.

SLR accepts original research articles, review papers, case comments, legislative analyses, book reviews and scholarly notes. It particularly welcomes work on emerging issues, comparative perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches to law.

Who Can Submit
According to the inaugural editorial, the journal is meant as an inclusive forum where judges, legal practitioners, policymakers, academicians, researchers and students can publish original, analytical research. The Editor-in-Chief invites scholars, practitioners and researchers worldwide to contribute.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis for the journal's online editions. The journal says it will acknowledge a submission within 7 days and give a review decision within 4 to 6 weeks. For themed issues, it will announce separate calls for papers and deadlines on its website.
