Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna is a National Law University established under the Chanakya National Law University Act, 2006 (Bihar Act No. XXIV of 2006). Its Child Rights Centre (CRC) runs research and programme work on juvenile justice and child protection in Bihar, and the present engagement sits within a project supported by UNICEF, Bihar.

The original advertisement dated 25 July 2026 set 31 July 2026 as the last date. By a Date Extension Notice dated 6 August 2026, the Registrar extended the last date for submission of the application form with relevant documents to 10 August 2026. The same notice also extends the deadline for the Consultant (Public Finance for Children) and Research Officer posts at the Centre. All other terms and conditions of the advertisement remain unchanged.
Selection is made purely on the basis of the candidate's previous record and performance in the interview. The advertisement had tentatively scheduled the interview for 2 August 2026 at CNLU, Patna; with the deadline now extended, the time and venue of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates by email only, and all correspondence with applicants will be through that email ID.
