OML is hiring a Legal | Sr. Associate for its Mumbai office. The opening is listed on OML's own careers portal as a full-time, on-site (not remote) position in the Media industry, opened on 23 September 2026.

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to content, production, talent, licensing, brands and platform partnerships
• Provide legal support across content development, production, distribution, artist management, finance, brands and rights management
• Advise internal teams on legal, contractual and regulatory matters
• Support brand integrations, sponsorships and commercial deals
• Manage IP, rights documentation, legal records and contract repositories
• Legal data library management
• Monitor legal developments and identify potential business and compliance risks
• Proof-read legal documents
• Carry out regular S&P (standards and practices) checks of audio-visual content

• LLB required
• 3 to 6 years of experience in media law, entertainment and IP (the posting's summary field lists 4-5 years)
• Previous experience at media law firms, media companies, advertising agencies, talent management firms or entertainment companies
• Ability to give sound, practical legal advice on media legal issues
• Experience drafting and negotiating digital rights and technology contracts, and an understanding of the regulatory regime for content and endorsement sales, is a plus
• A quick learner, passionate about media law
