The Moot Court Society, ICFAI Law School, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad cordially invites law students to the 11th Shri NJ Yasaswy Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2026, scheduled from 4 to 6 September 2026 at its Hyderabad campus. The competition commemorates Shri N.J. Yasaswy (1950-2011), visionary founder of the ICFAI Group of Educational Institutions, and continues a tradition of legal advocacy and academic excellence carried across earlier editions including the 33rd All India Inter-University Moot Court Competition and the NJYS Memorial Asia Pacific International Moot Court Competition.
The ICFAI Law School is part of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), a deemed-to-be University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and accredited NAAC A++. Its law programmes are recognised by the Bar Council of India and include B.A.-LLB (Hons.), B.B.A-LLB (Hons.), B.A.J-LLB (Hons.), the One-Year LL.M. programme and Ph.D. (Law).
The competition is open to students enrolled in 3-year and 5-year undergraduate law programmes across India. Each team shall comprise three members: 2 Speakers and 1 Researcher. Only one team is permitted per law college. Teams must finalise and register their Speakers and Researcher before registration; no changes are permitted thereafter.
Regular registration is Rs. 3,450 per team (Early Bird Rs. 2,850 closed on 07 July 2026). Optional accommodation is Rs. 5,000. Each team must sign the Liability Waiver Form and upload it via the Registration Form link. All participants receive free access to Manupatra for the duration of memorial research and a Certificate of Participation and Merit.
A total prize pool of ₹2,00,000, plus certificates for participants.
