State Law Officer at National Health Mission, UT Ladakh, Leh (Contractual, Rs 50,000 per month, Ladakh Domicile Only)

The Office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, has issued Advertisement Notice No. 40 dated 15 September 2026 inviting applications for various contractual positions under NHM, UT Ladakh.

One of the four posts advertised is State Law Officer (NHM), with one post on offer at a monthly pay of Rs 50,000. The other posts in the same notice are Manager positions in Human Resources, Referral Services and BEMMP & Infrastructure Programs.

• Qualification: LLB from a recognised institute
• Experience: minimum 2 years' experience in the Government or private sector in the relevant field; experience counts only if it is in the relevant field
• Domicile: only local candidates are eligible, and they must hold a Ladakh Residence Certificate or Domicile Certificate as prescribed under the rules, regulations or orders in force in the UT of Ladakh

• Monthly pay: Rs 50,000
• The appointment is on a contractual basis under the National Health Mission, UT Ladakh
• The initial term of the contract runs up to 31 March 2027; renewal or termination depends strictly on performance and continuation of the scheme
• The selected candidate must sign a contract with the appointing authority as per NHM Guidelines

Candidates are assessed out of 100 marks:

• Academic qualification: 60 marks (pro-rated)
• Relevant experience: 20 marks
• Viva-voce: 20 marks

If the number of eligible candidates is more than ten times the number of posts, shortlisting will be done on the basis of basic academic qualification. Candidates must appear for an interview before the selection committee constituted for the purpose.

Attach self-attested copies of all required documents. Copies of documents taken with camera phones will not be accepted.

• 10th pass marks card (for the birth certificate)
• Graduation degree or certificate with mark cards
• PG or Master's degree or certificate with mark cards
• Ladakh Residence Certificate (LRC) or Ladakh Domicile Certificate
• Aadhaar card for address proof
• Experience certificates

Applications must be addressed to the Mission Director, State Health Society, on the prescribed application form. The form is included in the advertisement PDF on the NHM Ladakh website and is also available at the Office of the Mission Director, NHM, UT Ladakh, K-2 Continental Building, Lower Skara, Leh, Ladakh.

Submit the completed form with supporting documents through physical mode at the above office. The last date for submission is 30 September 2026 at 4:30 PM. There is no application fee mentioned in the notice.
