The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has advertised an internship in the Anti-Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling (TIPSOM) Unit of its Regional Office for West and Central Africa (ROSEN) in Dakar, Senegal. The intern works under the direct supervision of the Associate Programme Officer of the TIPSOM Unit and the overall guidance of the TIPSOM Regional Programme Coordinator. The expected duration is 3 months.
The intern assists in the coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the TIPSOM programme portfolio, including the PROMIS project, which strengthens the capacities of West and Central African states to detect, investigate and prosecute trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling and to protect victims of trafficking and vulnerable migrants.
