Amherst College's Department of Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought invites applications for a full-time three-year visiting appointment at the rank of assistant professor for the 2027-2030 academic years, beginning 1 July 2027 and ending 30 June 2030.
Teaching responsibilities include two courses per semester and supervision of senior honors projects.
The department welcomes applications from persons trained in the humanities, social sciences and/or law, and is particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching is in one or more of the following areas:

The expected salary range is $70,000 to $100,000.
