About the Organiser

The Tamil Nadu Legal Rights Consortium (TNLRC) is the Tamil Nadu chapter of the National Legal Rights Consortium (NLRC), which functions under the Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI). It is a collaborative platform dedicated to strengthening legal awareness, promoting access to justice, and empowering communities through capacity-building initiatives.

TNLRC regularly conducts training programmes, workshops and webinars to equip law students, professionals and other stakeholders with knowledge on emerging areas of law and policy, with a particular focus on women and marginalised communities.

About the Webinar

TNLRC is organising a webinar on the theme "The Indian Constitution at 100: Challenges Before the Next Generation". The session looks ahead to the constitutional questions that will shape India over the coming decades rather than reviewing settled doctrine.

According to the organiser's announcement, the discussion will cover contemporary issues including artificial intelligence and constitutional law, climate justice, gender equality, data protection, electoral reforms and judicial accountability.
