Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS) was founded in 1985 by Mr. V. Lakshmikumaran along with his brother Mr. V. Sridharan. LKS states that interns are given real responsibilities to acclimatise them to the work of a full-time professional at the firm. Every intern is mentored by an LKS professional, who guides the intern, resolves queries and is in charge of the intern's overall development within the firm.

Selected interns must complete a minimum of four weeks of internship. At the end, each intern must make a presentation on a topic set by the mentor, before fellow interns and professionals who evaluate the performance. LKS says the presentation sets the benchmark for considering an intern's application for an associate position.

• Students who have entered the 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year law course.

The portal describes the target applicant as a law student in the final or pre-final year of law.

The LKS Winter 2026 Internship is available between 1 November 2026 and 31 March 2027. The portal does not state a stipend.

All certificates and documents mentioned in the application are physically verified on the first day of the internship, so every detail in the form must be accurate and supported by documents.
